The maple leaf…

I’ve been working diligently to finish this maple leaf shawl. Here’s what I have so far…

This has been one of the most challenging crochet projects I’ve ever embarked upon. And I can’t figure out if I’ve made loads of mistakes or if the pattern is just full of errors. Regardless, it seems to be turning out ok. I’m using a Lion Brand Mandala cake. It was the closest I could get to fall colors.

It’s been rainy and a bit cooler the past two days, but we had lots of sunny days. Unseasonably warm, really. The butterflies were really enjoying the flowers again. I had all sorts and managed to catch a few more photos…

This guy seemed to be guardian of the okra blossom…

Hi Peggy. We haven’t gotten much color change here. It’s only just now turning colder.
