It’s warmer, finally…

I had been waiting for a warm day to get out and clean the duck house. Yesterday was it, bronchitis be damned! This is the little shed which serves as the duck house. It was formerly Chickie’s house, our adopted stray cat who was sorely disappointed when he lost his spot in this warm place….

I’m writing again from the dry lands of Kansas. Winter is normally drought time for us, but this has been worse than normal. Usually, I’m pretty good about watering the mums out front during winter, dumping water on them occasionally just to keep the roots going. But I completely spaced it this season. I’m wondering…
